Electrical Engineering Ltd' ('H&D Electrical Engineering Ltd', 'we', 'us' or 'our') located in Warwickshire, UK.
In order for us to achieve our objective of providing a climate of continual improvement, not only in the products and services we supply, but also within our employees, any person with whom we interact and also the environment, we have created the following policy.
H&D Electrical Engineering Ltd undertake to operate and conduct our day-to-day business in a manner which minimizes wherever practicable our effect on the environment.
In order to do this we will:
- Prepare risk assessments and method statements prior to work commencing to identify any risk of pollution arising from our activities
- Either eliminate or effectively control all identified risks to (at least) meet regulatory requirements
- Ensure that waste produced is minimised to the lowest practicable level and disposed of responsibly
- Promote employee awareness and participation of environmental issues and provide relevant training as necessary
- Adopt the BATNEEC (Best Available Techniques Not Entailing Excessive Costs) principle to minimise any adverse environmental effects caused as a result of our activities
- Ensure that any persons working on behalf of H&D Electrical Engineering Ltd agree to comply with this policy
- Ensure, as far as is practicable, that products and services provided by third parties do not have an adverse effect on the environment and can be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner where necessary
- Review this policy as necessary in light of any new knowledge or changes in regulatory requirements
